The first thing is that they look really good, from the inside and outside. They add curb appeal. I used to renovate properties and once a clien asked me – instead of fitting in the usual bathrooms and kitchens, he also wanted (plantation) shutters fitting on the front windows of the house. Which we did. When he put it on the market, it sold in the first weekend. He said that everyone who came to look at it, commented on the window shutters. And not only did it sell but it got a higher price because of all of the interest that the plantation shutters generated. So it does add value as well.
